Wonderful things wrap-up

It's been a wonderful few weeks around here, and you know that's true because otherwise I would've opened with something much funnier. *winky face* So be sure to scroll all the way through - there's wonderful stuff in here for YOU, too!

Wonderful things that happened:

I was shocked, honored and thrilled to be named by BlogHer as a Must-Follow Humor Blog in their first-ever Must-Follow Mondays list!

My 2-year-old's craziness comprised about 30% of BabyZone's 17 ridiculous toddler demands.

Raising Wild Things featured my Princess Leia Halloween costume (see below) on her great series, Too Tired To Try Tuesday. You should go check her out - she's lovely, and funny, and obviously shares only the most wonderful, top-quality crafts and recipes every week on Tuesdays.

Wonderful things to read:

I shocked the publishing world by (as far as I know) inventing a new book genre, the faux-mance novel. Prepare for inappropriate giggling.

I decided to take some celebrity inspiration and rename my children! See what I picked - and why - when I called for a baby name do-over.

And speaking of celebrity inspiration, I interviewed Oprah! Sort of. Not really, but Ilana of Mommy Shorts could! Wait, what? Find out what the heck I'm talking about as you watch the horror of my interview unfold.

Divine Secrets of a Domestic Diva has invented a National Awareness Week - one that's truly worth celebrating. You'll be inspired by National It's Okay To Be Okay Week.

If you haven't met Janel at 649.113: Girls, the Care and Raising Of, then get over there now to laugh at her thoughts upon realizing the lights just when out at Target. And I don't want to hear any guff about the language - you KNOW that's what you'd be thinking too!

Wonderful things to try:

Wonderful things for you:

The Fall Reading Giveaway was a huge success - over 82,000 entries translates into a lot of salivating over a lot of fantastic prizes! Congratulations to Sandy, our grand prize package winner! Also congratulations on being my new best friend, Sandy - I'll be over shortly to borrow all your new stuff.

Missed out on that giveaway? Pop over to enter this one from Pixar for a $50 gift card and Monsters University Blu-ray combo pack. I was lucky enough to get an advance copy, and trust me, you and your kids want to see this movie! I suppose I don't need to tell you how much you want $50.

This coming Wednesday is the I Just Want To Pee Alone National Night Out! We'd love it if you could join us - I'm hosting a local event with The Shitastrophy and Bow Chica Bow Mom, so click through to find out details, like how to RSVP. Bonus: everyone who RSVPs gets entered in our drawing to win one of several fantastic door prizes! Don't live near us? *sad trombone* That's okay, there are Nights Out being hosted all over the county - click over to find one near you!

Wonderful tweets:

You can start on Huffington Post Parents, where they were kind enough to count me among the best parenting tweets of the week! And then . . .

I hope you enjoyed yourself while you were here - and I hope you come back! Please share inappropriate giggles with me on Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook, or subscribe via email so you don't miss a thing!

You can really help most of your clients by helping them use financial statements as a basis for making better business decisions.

Educating these customers in how to handle their tax affairs in the future
can save them many thousands of dollars. Not sure if the IRS has a copy of a 1099 or W-2 wage statement.
